Self-education

There are institutions and establishments that provide people with necessary knowledge and that teach people. Though, neither of those institutions can help a person in case there is no passion and desire for education. Those people at school and university, they are people that know a lot and they can share this knowledge with you though they can’t make you learn it. They can’t make you fall in love with knowledge. It is the self0eductaion that is the whole core of education. You know, a person may become the best specialist in case he or she knows what he or she wants and knows that knowledge is what he or she needs. And in case a person as no passion for education and is not thirsty for knowledge nothing will work in this case. It is the desire for education and thirstiness for knowledge that are the basis for education. So, I guess people should get hat education only in case they really need it and only n case they really want it, but f they don – then there is no point in making them.

Choosing future

When people make their choice about the university they will entre and about the profession they will learn there they chose more than they think. It is the future they are choosing and this future depends on profession. It is important to know it because it is rather hard to change something after you have spent a good number of years learning math, for example. And so, when making up your mind about your future profession, try to be serious and not to make a mistake. Think about the profession you are choosing the whole life you will have, you will have to wake up every day in the morning and go to your work and do things according to your profession. And it is better for you to love those things because otherwise you will soon run mad. Never try to choose profession because of money you can make thanks to it because money means nothing in case there is no pleasure in your work for you. And money is also of no use in case you have no time to spend those and you have no desire to spend those. Education means a lot because it is the life you will have in the future.

Experience or education?

I thought what a man in a modern world will have more chances to get a good job – the one with great experience or that possessing a prestigious university degree? We all know that there were many examples of the people who made outstanding careers without any higher education.

My friend, an excellent programmer, started to work in his field long before he get his education. Indeed, when started his University he already had a good salary and a good position in of the national’s best companies. He said he never was on an interview in his life. After his first big company owner wanted to close the business and go for retirement he was called one evening by a chief of his present company and asked if he wanted to work for them. He said: Surely”. He told that tomorrow he can come.

Other people told me that when they didn’t have a degree any job they were applying required a degree. After they got it, everyone wanted experience they which they were not able to get enough while studying.

I asked another friend of mine, an HR-specialist, how they hire. He told that he really looks at experience above education. He said that in some cases people having only degree and no experience just don’t understand that they don’t fit that job at all. But after all, he said, he takes the whole person with education, degrees and other abilities into count when they hire.

US Common Knowledge

It is common knowledge that the United States is not a leader in the education of its children.  The nation seems to have either the very best schools, that are exclusive to most of the population, or the very worst schools where there is very little point in the student even showing up.  The middle ground between the two seems to be growing smaller and smaller.  It seems that education is now becoming privilege of a select few instead of an expectation of the masses.

There have been many movies produced that reflect the lack of education being provided by our schools and many turn a blind eye to these issues, unless it is their own child’s education at stake.  There are teachers that use money out of their pocket to supply the materials needed in the classroom.  There are programs out there to help out a particular school or classroom in the educational system; but many turn a blind eye to the problem or defend their inaction by stating they have already paid their school taxes.

With the turnover of power in the White House, the President promises to make education a priority for every community.  Perhaps there is the realization that we get exactly what we put into the education of our children.  If we want to remain a world power, our children need to educated and educated well.  The question whether it is the responsibility of the parent or community for a child’s education no longer matters; we must realize that it is everyone’s concern and responsibility.
